Racing each week begins at 7:00 PM Central Standard Time. Omniums will always have their first race of the event at 7:00 PM, and times for the subsequent events will be noted. Pens close for all events one minute prior to race time, which means you need to be in the pen at least one minute prior to the start to participate. If you miss the pen, you miss the race. Show up early! The registration code for all events in this series is 061745.
The first night of the series is a three-race omnium. Each event must be registered for individually. If you register via the app make sure you enter registration code 061745 to see the events listed.
7pm : Elimination - The race will take place on the Forest Velodrome course. This will be a 12 lap race, and an elimination will occur at the end of every even-numbered lap (the first elimination is at the end of Lap 2). If the field is 15 or fewer riders there will be two riders eliminated each time; if the field is 16-20 riders there will be three eliminated each time; if the field is 25 riders (we've capped registration at this number) there will be four eliminated each time.

7:30pm: Points - This is on the road course called Little Loops. It begins on the velodrome, descends to the coast before cutting inland to loop around one of the lakes, and then returns to the velodrome where the race finishes on the track at the banner. It is 5.46 miles / 8.8 kilometers with a very mild 173 feet / 53 meters of total elevation. There are three total points banners on the course: two on the course itself and the finish banner.

7:00pm: Points - This week we ride on the Mid Loops West course for 11.7 miles / 18.8 kilometers and 466 feet / 142 meters of elevation. The first across each banner earns twenty five (25) points, then points in descending order as follows: 22, 20, 18, 16, and from there the points decrease from 15 down to 1. There are five total points banners:
After the descent from the velodrome the course flattens out before an all out-sprint to the initial banner very early in the race.
The second banner sits atop the only real hill on the course, which is short but punchy.
After ascending to the second banner it's a descent before another bump breaks your momentum, but the third banner is on the downhill after that bump. If there's no breakaway the sprint for this win is going to be fast--and even if there is a break, the field sprint will still be electric.
This one comes after a very shallow down-sloping gradient, but if the field is together it will be for the real sprinters.
The race concludes where it started: the velodrome banner.
The last event in January is another omnium. There will be four events, each demanding something of you until the last race asks the most... and when you've already given efforts on the previous events.
7:00pm: Scratch - The first race of the night is a blitz on the velodrome. It's a 1km (2 laps) race with drafting enabled.

7:08pm: Points - In the second event racers will do ten (10) laps on the velodrome, with the first lap awarding points and then every third lap after that. So, points are at the conclusion of laps 1, 4, 7, and 10. The total length of the race is 5km.

7:20pm: Keirin - It's time for the Keirin. The pacer will lead riders for the first three (3) laps (1500m) on the velodrome, and then riders will sprint for the remain 1000 meters.

7:32pm: Hill Climb - It's a 500m scratch race... uphill. For this event riders will do the first 500 meters of the route "Upper Climb". How much can you suffer in such a short distance after already having dug deep three times?

7:00pm: Scratch - Week 4 invites you to race a flat, simple road course. It's a scratch race on the Coastal Loop for 10 miles / 16.1 kilometers with only 138 feet / 42 meters of elevation: flat and fast!
The last omnium of the season returns to the velodrome for flat, fast action. It's a three-event night.
7:00pm: Scratch - It's a 2km (4 laps) scratch race. It will be short and fast to the finish.

7:13pm: Elimination - One rider will be pulled at the finish of the second lap, just like in the first week. Unlike the first week, it will be a rider pulled every lap after that.

7:30pm: Time Trial - The last event of the night is the longest time trial of the year: 5km (10 laps). Pace yourself. There's no drafting on this one.

7:00pm Scratch - The last race of the season concludes with two (2) laps on the road course Flat Eight. Riders will compete in a scratch race for 13.7 miles / 22 kilometers and 480 feet / 146 meters of elevation. The course has some lumps but no major climbs. Will this be the race to decide the series?
